AMD Signs Agreement with SRO Motorsports Group

AMD has now signed an agreement with SRO Motorsports Group to work with the famous race organiser and promoter on their Asian events, starting with the Sepang 12 Hour.

Running the event for the second consecutive year, Europe based SRO Motorsports have been looking for a locally based motorsport marketing business to help generate interest and entertainment for the Sepang 12 Hour which has been on the decline in terms of spectators and entries for the past several years.

SRO are also bringing their prestigious Blancpain series to Asia in 2017 as the the Blancpain Asia Cup.

Air Asia & Caterham Motorsport Championship Partnership

AMD facilitated the partnership between the Caterham Motorsport Championship and the world’s best low-cost airline- Air Asia.

To celebrate the first race of the championship outside of Malaysia, Air Asia have supplied airfare, accommodation and financial support to take the Caterham operation to Thailand.

The race weekend was a success with a lot of video content being generated for Air Asia’s new onboard entertainment system- Rokki.


Aylezo Ecotint Racing LMP3 Launch

AMD were instrumental in organising and running the launch event where Aylezo Ecotint Racing unveiled their new Ginetta LMP3 race car that they will run in the 2016/17 Asian Le Mans Series.

The Aylezo Racing’s “Journey to Le Mans” campaign was also launch. This program is dedicated to the fans of Aylezo Racing, giving them the opportunity to become part of the team and be rewarded with the online support with exclusive offers, merchandise, race tickets, and more.

A large group of team supporters, partners, fans, family and media attended the event. Guests had the opportunity of getting their photo taken with the impressive race car, goodie bags and a fine selection of food and beverage.

Alex Yoong guest appearance on Harith Iskander TV show

To promote Alex’s Audi R8 LMS Cup championship fight and to talk about upcoming projects, we booked him on the new popular TV show: Obviously Harith Iskander.

This evening talkshow is hosted by the famous Malaysian celebrity comedian Harith Iskander who is also known as the “Godfather of stand-up comedy.

Obviously Harith Iskander is on channel 501 Astro Awani every Saturday night at 9:30pm.



BRM Chronographes & Aylezo/Zen Low Partnership

Further utilising our relationship with BRM Chronographes, AMD were able to facilitate the partnership between Zen Low and BRM.

The personal partnership with Zen Low will see BRM signage around Aylezo’s 3Stone motorsport park in Batu Tiga, and on the Ginetta LMP3 race car that the Aylezo Ecotint Racing team will run in the 2016/17 Asian Le Mans Series.

BRM have a strong presence in motorsport and in particular with endurance racing and the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours. Zen Low and Aylezo Ecotint Racing have started their “Journey to Le Mans” with the aim of becoming the first Malaysian race team to compete in the famous endurance race.

Partnership Deal: BRM Chronographs & Caterham

AMD were instrumental in signing BRM Chronographes as the Official Timekeeper of the Caterham Motorsport Championship.

The deal includes the two class champions winning a limited edition BRM watch, and the winners of each race receiving a special BRM trophy.

The partnership extends beyond the Malaysian championship whereby BRM will manufacture a limited edition Caterham watch designed by Caterham Group CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

New Client: Aylezo Racing

One of Malaysia’s most successful racing teams, Aylezo Racing has competed and won in many of Asia’s top events and race series including the Sepang 12 Hour, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, GT Asia, Malaysia Super Series & Asian Le Mans Series to name a few.

AMD handles the team’s Marketing & Communications. We also look after Business Development for Aylezo’s 3Stone Motorsport Park. The only one of its kind in Asia, 3Stone is the ultimate race drivers sanctuary housing a kart track, simulator centre, gym, sports cafe, restaurant, spa and conference rooms.

Endorsement Deal: Alex Yoong & Maju Homes

AMD was instrumental in signing Alex as brand ambassador for Malaysia’s biggest furniture brand- Maju Homes.

Maju Homes is expanding their brand across Malaysia consisting of launching a number of new concept stores and releases several new furniture brands.

The 3 year ambassador deal includes Alex appearing in a comprehensive series of billboards, advertisements, personal and TV/print advertisements endorsing this national brand.

Celebrity Car Wars

A new TV show to be broadcast across Asia and Africa where famous Asian celebrities participate in fun and exciting activities involving cars.

AMD signed Alex Yoong to be the coach of the celebrities during filming.

The show was filmed in Manila and will run over a season of 10 episodes.

Celebrity Car Wars broadcasts in October 2016 on the A+E Network.

Partnership Deal: Prince Lubricants & Caterham Championship

AMD were able to extend Prince Lubricant’s 1-year official supplier deal up to title partner of the Caterham Championship.

The championship is now the “Prince Lubricants 2016 Caterham Motorsport Championship.”

Negotiations are still underway for Prince Lubricants to become the official lubricant of Caterham cars worldwide.

New Client: The Automotive College Malaysia (TOC)

AMD has expanded it’s relationship with Asia’s leading automotive college to provide public relations and business development support.

TOC has a busy expansion plan over the next few years including launching new campuses around Asia and extending their motorsport curriculum.

TOC has also recently launched a race driver education and training program with Aylezo Racing.

Corporate Event & Emcee: Prudence Foundation Safe Steps road safety campaign

Alex was guest of honour and co-host of this road safety campaign launch at the Pavilion shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.

The campaign is supported by the FIA Action for Road Safety initiative and National Geographic.

Alex spoke about the parallels between concentrating on the race track to win, and concentrating on public roads.

Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh is the national ambassador.


PR: Magazine Photoshoot & interview

To celebrate Father’s Day Alex Yoong was the local celebrity interview with his son Alister for popular Malaysian men’s magazine Maskulin.

This interview was one of many we have lined up for Alex as part of re-introducing him to the Malaysian public and building his brand across Asia.

Alex is one of the most popular sporting celebrities in Malaysia, but lack of a media strategy has left the general public in the dark as to his current achievements. AMD is working with Alex to rebuild his brand.

A number of appearances in print and TV have been organised for 2016.
